  • Heat Haze?

    Hello all,

I am trying to get a good idea just what heat haze is. I took some pics at GRR last weekend and the weather was mostly cloudy and hot. Here is one of the shots from then.

Is this shot a good example of what heat haze is doing to photographs? If so, can someone point out exactly where in the pics it appears. Oh, this is the unedited original.

    Thanks in advance,

    Brad

best way to see heat haze is along the cheatlines (lines down the side). Also you can see it on the bottom and top of fuselage. That photo has some.. but its not THAT bad. you could get a picture with that amount of heat haze uploaded.

see the dark line on the hanger and how distorted it is. This was las saturday and it was Hazy, Hot and Humid.

1pm isn't helpful for pictures when its humid...

I think another way to explain it, when you look down the road and it looks like water is on it in the distance?
