Nice, but they do look a bit underexposed to me. Or did you have such bad light ?

Yes the ones on grey skies are bound to be a bit dark as the sun was nowhere to be seenand it was low visibilty. The blue sky ones are always bound to look better it's just the way it goes.

Love the Vapor shots with the Eagles, took this last weekend

F3, do you shoot for any magazines or websites besides your own? You seem to have some great access. Love to gain that same type.

No not really occasionally I let websites use my photos however I have never earned any money or extra access from my work it's just a case of knowing where these places are.

What was the lighting conditions on the chopper pics? Do you have the exif data for those? I've been trying to get my photos to have lighting like that for a long time & I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong... Superb shots btw!

Yeah I guess that didn't make much sense. A lot of my photos tend to come out over/underexposed- I find it very difficult at times to get the nice exposure you had with the helicopter pictures. I'm wondering if I'm using wrong ISO, aperature, or shutter settings or if it's just the weather conditions... What type of setup do you use on your camera when you're shooting?

Some of the pics are so great and neat you could venture in guessing the pilot's socks' brand name ... Nice job, especially the Gazelle close-up.

Use your light meter if you have one to get your correct exposure.

There is really not any "correct" settings to use. You can get the same exposure from a variety of settings. Use the histogram and exposure compensation on your camera. Just practice, and learning your camera is how to "get it right".

OK thanks guys- I'll do some research on how light meters & historograms work.
