    Funny, I usually use center weighted and +0,3.

    On my D100 I usually use matrix (evaluative) as I seem to get the best results with this setting and set the camera to +0.7 overexposure to compensate for the bright sky.

    I mostly use center weighted. Matrix is more something for close-up work (static and stuff). But I use a D100 so it could be different.

    What metering setting to use?

    Hey,
    I have been wondeing for a while which is the best metering setting to use on a cannon eos30 camera -
    Evaluative, (35 zone)
    Centre weighted,
    or Spot.
    I usuallt fill most of the frame with the aircraft.
    I use slide film so cannot really be off with exposure too much.
