I looked up the reg. , and according the the FAA, there is no plane with that registration. What kind of plane is this? Also, would this shot make it here?

Very strange! NASA has several Northrop T-38 Talon's used as chase planes, maybe this is a new aqusition?

If they're used as chase planes, why is this one in Kentucky? There's no NASA operations going on anywhere near here.
So the plane is a T-38?
