Hello guys, I just need some advice on these pictures .

can anyone tell me what to do to get better photos,

The setting I used this day was f4. ISO 800, some of the photos at 90mm on a 75-300mm III .

these are yet to be uploaded. and they are cropped at 4:3 ratio..

this below looks too white on the fuselage. setting advice would be good to
    know ?

EDIT: They're a bit dirty with dustpots, that problem im already aware of ..

thanks for any advice i might get from you guys ..

Well, they are kinda dark and your really low on them. Kinda dull imo. So try to move back anbd get more light on them. And shoot a lower iso.

very nice pictures john, but they are like greg says, a bit dark. maybe the ISO 800 is too high, try lower them down to ISO 200, it helps you to get it right, ..

the CZA is cool but offcentered.

but keep up the good job

Shot a lower ISO, 100 or 200, and re-crop the CSA plane from the original picture, is not centered.

Howdy... Right now I'm using the same cam/lense combo. They've all covered the lower the ISO, I usually shoot 100, 200 max. The important thing here though is that your shots look a little soft, and I'm thinking its because you shot at f/4. This lens isn't good wide open, stop it down to f/8 especially in good light like it looks like you had.

Also, post-processing is a big part. I've made a workflow that can be found online at http://rockymountainavphotos.com/Eric/workflow.html, I believe Jid also has a workflow but i don't know the address.

              John.
From what I can see in these resised images you are not too far off.
But why are you using ISO 800 and f14? I see you are using "NORMAL" exposure program.I don't use a cannon but is that auto?

Try ISO 100-200 and aperture in the f8 range..... this will give you shutter speed of 800-1000 on a clear day and practice practice.....................
