Spotting at KLAX

Hey guys,

I am in Los Angeles right now. Went spotting at LAX today, and wow...I must say, there is a world of difference between spotting in Canada and spotting in the States.

I hardly ever see police at Canadian airports, but today, in the 2 hours I was at LAX, at least 20-30 police cars/bikes drove past me. Two of them stopped and questioned me. Admittedly, they were both very nice, joked around, etc...but one of them made me miss the Singapore A345.

Anyways, still had a fairly great day, and I plan on going out there again before leaving.

Nice shot Will. Been to KLAX twice and been to that spot once and luckily we were not moved on at all, just checked by a couple of cops, they were quite happy to let us stay and enjoy the crap weather! Look forward to seeing more of your shots when you are home!

Went out to LAX again today to catch the A345, and I missed it again. It landed on the 25's...

We spotted on the bridge there for about 2 hours Sunday a week ago, and at least 10 cops drove by and didn't say a word. If they had, I would have entertained them up until the point where they asked me to leave, at which point, I would have informed them (as Clovis said) that it's a public sidewalk and they have absolutely no right to ask you to move.

Funny thing is there were harldy any cops there today, but I still missed the SQ.
