  • Digital Manipulation

    Hi,

    Just had these 2 rejected for Digital Manipulation.

    [photoid=663966]

    [photoid=663965]

    Bit annoyed about that as there is no more "manipulation" applied to these than any of my other pictures in the database. The colours are vibrant because of the (unusual for the IOM) sunshine. I keep the sharpening to a minimum (0.3) and any saturation is considerably less than usual.

    Seems a bit of sunshine is to be avoided. Good job it's raining today.

    I can't post the original as I am at work.

    Hmm, seems they don't want to be seen. Try again

    DOH!!!!!! It's going to be one of those days, I can tell!

        I don't think the shortcut works with rejected photos.

        The bottom of the fuselages look green and pixly to me. Not a standard BA job.

          Couldn't the green on the undersides be a reflection of grass though?

            Overuse of shadow/highlight or brightness.Can clearly see a halo/glow effect arround aircraft,especially the wing area.Didn't you have the same problem a few weeks back?

              The manipulation rejections are due to the white halo around both aircraft. More visible on the Saab the than the EMB. Cause, incorrect level adjustment, the main culprit being the Shadow/Highlight function in PS.

              Hope this clears it up

              Cheers .. Jid.
              P.S. No I did not screen them!

                LOL, nice get out Jid

                OK, I'll try again but I think if I give it any less than I have they will both be quite bland.

                The green is the grass, lots of it in the IOM

                I must be going blind. I'm having difficulty seeing a halo, and you are right Greg, I did have this earlier. However, I thought I'd sorted that one. Back to the drawing board
