    I use custom, because you can photoshop all you want, but if it sucks coming out of the camera, it's still gonna suck in photoshop.

    Yeah, this has been making me sick thinking how I paid ~$670 for my 300D in December '04 and a few months later the bottom dropped out on the 10D prices.


    Thanks for your responses everyone. To the person that selected Adobe RGB: would you mind posting and sharing with me/us why you use that mode?

    Yeah, Parameter 1 makes the pictures look nicer right out of the camera, but I'm wondering if maybe using Adobe RGB will give better results post-editing. The manual says that mode is mostly used by professionals and requires lots of editing...
