  • 2 screener choices of same plane on same day!

I was looking at the PIA 743 pics at Man and found it superb to see 2 screeners choice for the same plane on the same day. One for its crazy landing, and one for its crazy takeoff later on in the day!

I think he means like "landing off" center, not proper.

The 777's get off really easy, It's just the 747's!

Good shots, but I dont really see anything special or nice about the takeoff to warrent screeners choice. It looks just like a lot of other takeoffs.

Because that plane pretty much overshot the runway.

I also think that there isn't really a set of guidelines for a screeners choice. It's just a picture that the screener likes.

I'm the one that gave the take-off shot a screener's choice, I understand what Chris (Burns) is saying and that thought crossed my mind when deciding whether to award SC or not, but there are no guidelines for SC shots, the decision is entirely in the hands of the screener who screens the picture. If I like a shot and feel it doesn't deserve to be lost among the hundreds that are added each day I'll give it the SC which is exactly what happened in this case.
