How does your total views here compare against other sites?

I uploaded my first picture here on Feb 28 2003. Today (barely 4 months later) my total views here passed my total views at Airliners.Net. I'm flabbergasted, but pleased.

Ive found here at jp.net that ALL my photos, weather it be normal aircraft or general aviation, jump over the 100 hit mark within their first week online! Whereas at a.net i still have some at 34 hits or 75 hits that have been there almost a year.

I have also had more interest in my photo's here request wise, which I am very happy about!

Jason, I have the exact opposite affect through being contacted. Even though I have 400+ here at jetphotos, and only 125 at airliners, I get contacted much more through airliners.net, even though some of my less stunning shots here get alot more views.

I uploaded a few here last week and all ive gotten on em are 50-100 hits each. Strange mine are usually over 100 hits pretty quickly too. I'm still trying to figure it out. A few of them got accepted to a.net too and they've gotten the same #.

I have more hits here, but thats because I have 76 photos here and 14 there.

I have more pictures and total hits here (1456 & 250,000 ish) compared to Anet (1156 + 240000 ish) yet almost all my contacts come via Anet

A.Net: 700 pics 170000 hits, average about 250

JP: 500 pics 81000 hits, average around 160


Like Jason nearly all my pictures have had at least 100 hits, but I have over 200 at A.net on under 100 hits but about 20 with over 1000. Here I have one picture with nearly 500 hits and all the rest no higher than around 250. But almost all my contacts have come from A.net.

It looks like pictures are getting plenty of views as they are added here but not much afterwards and not much use is being made of the search facility which would bring up older pictures

Much higher on a.net, but it is picking up here. And, even when this site was much younger they got more than a planepictures.net

pp.net's standards should be the model to all photography sites, not too low and yet not too high either. The only downside is they dont get too many hits.

It can be down to the subject matter and location. I find that as this is a USA based website the UK light aircraft and european airlines I have on here get far more views than on anet.

I currently have some pictures in the queue of a lot of De Havilland aircraft taken on Saturday 28th which I can almost guarentee will get more hits here than on anet yet those on anet have been there since Monday am.

All (i think) of any sales have come from anet though.
