The light looks odd on the fuselage on both shots, looks like the contrast is a bit off.

I've never noticed that. I'll have to take a look at it. One thing might be that I "accidentally" left it on EV-0.3 when it was pretty dark. Probably didn't help things. I'll just keep these two to myself.

Shooting EV -0.3 shouldn't cause that, I almost always forget to switch out of -0.7 when light gets low and it doesn't hurt anything. Check your contrast settings in your D50, or take it easy on the contrast in PS.
