  • Would this get it - a bit different

    Hello,

    http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/328...sunset16mj.jpg

just wondering opinions on this shot. Taken of concordes last ever night landing in commercial service from jfk about to touchdown on 9L at LHR. Its quite nice for my personal collection anyway, it isn't astounding quality due to the crappy camera it was taken with (Fuji S602)

    Cheers

I think the aircraft is too far and the tree on the left is obstructing. Also maybe try to make the concorde look darker and the sky lighter...or something like that. Just play with it
    Very nice shot thou

Even if it doesn't make the cut you're really lucky to have that shot. I'll never get the chance to see that thing fly.

Having a play around with the photo on photoimpact, it would probably fall victim to an overedited rejection but it shows the potential this image has.

I could possibly do better once i find my photoshop CD but im not stripping the house in search of it.

I think that this picture belongs in the DB!

However, looking at the two poles in the pictures, you might consider some clockwise rotation.

Dan, I didnt even touch the saturation.

I can see why you'd say that though.

With some editing I'm sure the shot has a good chance!

If not saturation the contrast has been raped somewhat.

I think oversharpened. Look at the halos around the edges. I really love this shot though.
