    This first image is the original image that I caught the other day.



    My question has to do with how to crop it. My first pass I did this



    but wonder if I might get a "parts missing" rejection because of the tip of the horizontal stabilizer being cut off. If I leave it in, I think the image looks unbalanced. Any suggestions?

    I wouldnt crop out the horiz. stab . I think there's nothin problem with it. Looks fine to me.

    Btw on my screen it still looks underexposed. you might want to give it more levels , more light on it..?

      To me it looks awkward with just that little bit missing. I'd suggest either include it or crop closer.

        Yeah, you guys are right. I recropped it and it looks better. Thanks for the input.

          It looks a tad high in the frame. Little too much dead space at the bottom.

            based on the original you posted above, it looks like you put it too high in the frame for anything except a closer in crop. Try this one:
