  • Photo Usage Request

    Hi guys,

    I recieved the following message:

    -
    Mr. Preindl,

I work for Goodrich Corporation, maker of aerospace products such as pitot probes and temperature sensors. With your permission, I'd like to use your photo (ID#1017917) on the cover of our pricing catalog for 2007. This particular photo would work well because Boeing is one of our major customers, but no airline logos are visible and it still looks rather generic. Also a couple of the type of sensors we manufacture are visible on the nose of the aircraft. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    xxx
    Goorich Sensor Systems

Any ideas how much to charge?
    greetings,
    Philip

I would ask a few questions, how many copies are they going to make and how big the catalog is going to be?

I would think their advertising budget would be able to pay pretty decent for a cover page.
      Offer them $500

I cant seem to locate the image of your Philip.

No image matches that ID number.

It is possible that the photo existed at one time, and was removed for a variety of reasons.

Btw. Is it too much if you ask for a free copy of that catalog ?
