  • Northwest Jet Airlink vs Northwest Airlink

Guys - I had a suggestion - when uploading a Pinnacle CRJ or Mesaba RJ85, both operating for Northwest Airlink, shouldn't we use just Northwest Airlink instead of Northwest Jet Airlink in some cases? The official marketing name has been Northwest Airlink and they used the "Jet" part just to promote the regional jet service. Is it possible to override the values "Northwest Jet Airlink (Pinnacle Airlines)" in the database with "Northwest Airlink (Pinnacle Airlines)" as well as "Northwest Jet Airlink (Mesaba Airlines)" with "Northwest Airlink (Mesaba Airlines)"? That way they are standardized.

Also, something I just noticed, if you go to http://www.nwa.com/corpinfo/allia/pa...shtml#pinnacle - it seems now the name has changed to "nwa Airlink". Mesaba's site has the old name and logo but Pinnacle (http://www.nwairlink.com) and NWA.com use only the nwa Airlink name. So maybe that might be needed to be added to the airline list ...

    Thanks

    Blendi

The CRJ's are Operated by Pinnacle Airlines, and the ARJ's by Mesaba, so perhaps it should be either Pinnacle or Mesaba (even with saabs), or just keep it all Northwest Airlink.
