New Thumbnail Compression, Right?

Hi All,

I have noticed that the photos being uploaded this last week, the thumbnails generated are much softer than before and in my opinion, they look a tad too soft, and could just have a little bit more sharpness. Here's a comparison from two photos, one old one new:

Old: (Can you notice the small grain on the tail?)

EDIT:

New: (Notice how softer and less grainy it looks?)

Seems sometimes even the smalles things like thumbnails catch you eyes!

EDIT: I think you can't link the "old thumbnails" anymore, check out the first code not working and the second "new" one does work, weird!

There has always been a slightly visible compression at all the thumbnails.

Big deal. huh ?

We shouldnt take all these stuff for granted.
