      Ive used a 30D (even though im Nikon) and it seemed quite a nice camera.

      Im sure that will go nicely with your new lense

        I sold some pics recently which pays for the 100-400 so the camera and lens sale hopefully goes towards paying for the 30D, easy peasy

                got the 30D today! Very very nice! need to read the manual now, bit diff than the 350D. Hope the weather holds up! knowing my luck its going to p!ss it down for ages.

                  Yea, best to sit down with the camera in one hand and the manual in the other and try virtually everything. I was overwelmed with my D2x when i first got it, as i was used to a D50.

                    They're really not that different at all, just things are in slightly different places. If you can use a 350d then you should have no problems with the 30D. You'll adapt to it very quickly.
