I Will Be Snappin' A Few Pics At LHR

Hello all,

I will be flying to London Heathrow and will be staying in the area for 2 days. I like to invite any LHR regulars who can spend a day or two snappin' photos with me. The dates are Sept. 6 and the 7th. Just for a little info, it's on a weekday and I'll understand most people will probably be at work or at school.

I'll probably be shooting mainly from Myrtle Ave, but if anyone wants to show me around, im fine with that.

BTW, How is the Renny Hotel for viewing aircraft movements?

Hi Kevin,

I am free both days but afternoons only-basically I am able to get to LHR for the 3pm runway switch which means it'll be Myrtle Avenue in the afternoons that week and 27R in the mornings for approach shots.

Speak to Sam Pollitt about the Renny, I think he was there yesterday.

From my room I was overlooking a main road on the other side of the airport. If you go to the Club Lounge that's pretty good and it also has the internet aswell as drinks etc. I think the usually price of around £100 is expensive for the hotel though, i'd rather stay at Jurys Inn.
