Noticed that looking at the most popular photos for teh last 2 weeks, the Vast Majority of the most popular pics are air to air. Are we setting a new standard here and making ground shots obsolete

Yes not having a good air to air platform available all the time is a bitch. I hate having to go through all the emergency egress training just so I can use the military's F-16s and F-18s as camera ships.
Might as well waste the taxpayers money on camera ships instead of my own.
Aint life a bitch
New Zealand - Where Men Are Men and Sheep Run Scared.
Well that's better than when I was in a PC9 and as I lifted the Hassleblad to my face the strap was jammed on something, so I gave it a jerk and still nothing. So I looked down to see the camera strap jagged on the Ejection handle.
First and last time I ever flew with a camera Strap.
Good Question, Why does any aircraft need an ejection seat for that matter. However in the PC9s defence, while it isn't as fast as a macchi MB326H, it's can out perform one. As a high end trainer, i guess it is anticipated that it would sometime get into an irecoverable attitude and would come in handy.
Also may have been a profitable factor to include as well. In any case, it has saved a few lives.
Aside from the safety aspect, the whole point of aircraft like the PC-9 and Tucano is to provide a training environment as close to that of font line aircraft as possible.
Cheers,
Colin
