  • My best shot rejected! Help please

I do not understand why this was rejected.

Cool Pic and what is that in the sky?
The reason is that it looked too close to one that was posted, yet it doe not. Any ideas?

Don't want to seem petty, but I feel it is one of my best pics

Am I wrong? It would not be the first time.

Nice pics. Don't know why they were rejected, this could be answered by a screener though when one comes.

That thing in the sky is weird. I also wonder what it is!

I think it is another aircraft. I used a 16 sec. shutter for this one.
        Thanks for the feedback

Ok, But I feel that the two that were rejected were better than the ones accepted. I posted the half of the 727 nose with me in it because I liked the affect made by the light.

Can you thumbnail a shot that was rejected? I don't want people to think that the ones accepted are the ones I am talking about.

Rule of thumb: don't upload a huge batch of the same aircraft, taken at the same time, at almost the same angle. Do some self screening and upload, what you really think is the best.

Well I have to be blunt and say if you felt that way why did you upload the other shots then?

This is part of the problem in why the queue gets so large, people upload bucketloads of shots of the same aircraft taken seconds apart, instead of being selective. IMHO 3 shots of the same aircraft, all from different angles is the maximum anyone should upload of one plane.

As Gerardo says, be selective with what you upload, and choose your best work, rather than upload every shot you have taken.

Atco - have to disagree with your 3 shots only rule. For example I have uploaded numerous of LA City Fire Depts 412 doing fire fighting, winching, medevac, sunsets, on hospital pads etc etc and they are all different, completely different. If you guys dont want the images then say so and will send them elsewhere. Your call.

Neville there are always exceptions, and your LA City FIre shots fall into that category. But more then three shots of the same airplane sitting on a ramp is a little much. That same airplane in the air however, landing take-off, climbing there are more acceptable differences which make the shots unique.
