  • Johannesburg & Cape Town Spotting.

for our south african friends, myself and Jason Whitebird will be in South Africa from 21-31 january.

    JNB 21-26jan
    CPT 26-31jan

we're hoping to spot at Rand, Lanseria and of course Johannesburg for 4 days, then take a trip to Pilanesberg game park and finally on the 26th fly down to Cape Town.

Cape Town, can anyone advise how many days to shoot here? i'd say 1 or 2 afternoons at most, rest of the time would be for tourist trips like Robben Is, Table Mt & cable car, South Africa v Pakistan test match and i plan on going great white shark diving on the 30th.

if anyone has any spotting tips, travel tips and highlights then let us know...really looking forward to visiting South Africa for the first time.

i'll be arriving on SQ at 7am, Jason later in the day from Washington...anyone who's free and wants to meet up would be great also.

    next trips
    USA/DXB August.

Since you will be on board the aircraft in 19 days or so, PM to Robin asap. This what I would outrightly do.
You lucky. Should have a great time there, pictures or not.

        Dunno much about spotting LongReach.

However, if you take any pictures at the SA V Pak test match I'd love to have a look at a few as well ;p.

His username is RobinB I'm pretty sure.
