  • Is it my eyes or ?.......

........has this pic of mine in the DB suddenly developed a green cast in the lower half of the picture ?

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5817436

If it isn't my eyes can anyone explain this sudden change ?

I had a similar problem some time ago when the lower half of a pic suddenly decided to not display.

    Any ideas ?

PS Sorry for the blatant pic view plug but I can't think of another way to ask the question.

    Looks ok to me:

Your screen could be the problem too.

Brian, it's your eyes .... or consider yourself banned for a decade for shameless plug

Seriously: no idea, as it looks OK here. Nevertheless, I copied the photo from the backup server. Do you notice anything?

I don't see a green tint but I do see a dust spot.

Considering it's from a Nikon, I'm kind of surprised there's no green.
I don't see it either, your monitor may be a little off.

                  I don't understand this

This is the pic with the url from "right click"..."properties"....paste into "insert image". It clearly shows a sharply defined green cast from the centreline of the aircraft down to the bottom of the pic. It shows clearly in "preview post".

Can you guys see it now ?

I've checked a dozen or more other pics in my uploads and it doesn't appear in any of them !!

Edit: It also appears in the posted answer.....so I 'aint going senile.....it 'aint this screen.....and it's NOT a Nikon problem. Bloody Canonites !!

Thought for the day ? Canonite ?......sounds like fossilised sea creature from past millennia.

                    Can't see that Brian !!

(Can see a dust spot bottom left)

What you seem to be describing sounds like a corrupt jpeg file, possibly in an IE temp cash maybe. Only thing I can think of I'm afraid.

                        Must be your age Brian

On a serious note, no green here either.

                        Cheers,

A good Nikonian knows either how to fix that, or set the camera so that doesn't happen...

Not a green tinge anywhere, masterfully done, and certainly a novel way to plug the picture!!!

Actually, without a green tinge one has to wonder if you borrowed one of them Canon thingies? You know, the perfect, works-every-time cameras! NOT!!!!!!!!!

I'll go now, while I'm still mobile, hehehe!!

Well, I am sitting in front of my home computer and seeing a perfectly good image.

I am also feeling a little bit of a prat !
Obviously there is something interfering with the image on my works machine because, I swear to you all, that bloody image was green on the lower half on that one.

Maybe Jid could expand a bit on his theory because that seems closest to the cause ?
