        Especially as it doesn't cost as much to service a woman than it does to service a DSLR.

            Yep, roughly 1000 Euro were spent since my girlfriend decided, that spotting is fun, but would be more fun if she had her own DSLR with some serious glas.

              Not to be rude guys, but id never get a g/f who was interested in spotting. I couldn't imagine anything more dull in a relationship. (waits to get flamed lol)

                      well it would help to have a girl who understands you hobby/passion. I luckily married an airforce brat. She understands my passion so much that when we move due to her new job, she's looking 30 miles south of NAS Oceana !!

                      regarding Lady Photographers, I know a few Air show female photogs who are excellent.
