Just wondered if anyone could explain this bizzare happening. What I would class as my worst shot on JP is actually my most viewed one its a little embarrasing.

This isn't www.jetphotos.net, this is actually bizzaro.jetphotos.net. Welcome to Bizzaro world

In short, I dont know, that's a very good question. Perhaps an aircraft that later crashed? or was possibly linked from an outside location.

I have a PIA shot which isn't great quality but it got Screeners Choice and has nearly 25,000 views now... Shocking really

I had a shot on the other site that suddenly had a disproportionate amount of views. It was a shot of a Cirrus which just happened to be the same type as that American sportsman crashed into a tower block in New York.

So, just be grateful Colin, you never know WHAT people might be looking at on the web!!

My two most popular photos are rather boring to me and easily acievable by anyone.
I have to say sometimes i look through the screeners choice and some of the photos in there make me wonder why.

maybe but a lot of people dont take the time to get interior shots, so when they pop up they are popular.

Interesting theory but i also have this cockpit photos on the database which is alot less popular and the aeroplane is an awfull lot rarer:

                    Its a Sopwith Triplane.

If you look at the photo history of your photo

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

You can see it as been referered in some forums.

                      Cheers,

                      Gabe

Well after all, it is "Screeners Choice" not "Photographers Choice"

I remember seeing your screeners choice if i recall you had the plane and the spotting mound in the picture. I thought it was quite a good depicting just how close to the action you get at MAN obviously others must have thought so as someone else a week later tried to do the same with a Virgin 747 going in the oposite direction and didnt get a screeners choice or anything.
