I bought a 20D!!!!!!

Figures seem to vary hugely for the 20D. Apparently the 300D was put in for about 50K and the 20D is meant to be double that so most people are saying about 100k.
My 20D had done 24k when it went in for a major service last year (not for the shutter though which is still fine), so I guess a year later it must be going on 45-50K now.

My D60 had 86K when i sold it. never needed a service and nothing ever went wrong with it. No error's, nothing.

yup, body only, and they said it was about 5000, when I get the camera is there a way I could find out for sure?

Take it to a decent camera shop, and ask them to check for you. They should be able to do it quickly and for free
