I use a Kingston 2GB CF Extreme card in my 1dmkii and it works pretty quick. While it isnt the fastest of cards i've ever used it does what it says on the tin and i've never had any problems with it.
Altho saying that i've just picked up 2 2GB Sandisk Extreme III cards for £16 a go. These are my main cards now and they work very very well in the 1dii.
