  • Type to use when uploading

    G'day all,

Curious on how to add the correct type when uploading the attached shot.

On the official Australian Aircraft Register http://www.casa.gov.au/casadata/register/index.asp it is listed as follows.

    REGISTRATION - VH-JLG
    MANUFACTURER - Amateur Homebuilt Aircraft
    TYPE - JG2
    SERIAL NUMBER - 1

The aircraft is a scale replica of the Grumman F9F Panther used during the Korean War.

Any advice on how to add the correct type to the database so I can upload this shot would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Craig

Hi Craigo. As the aircraft is a one off built by John Gross I've made an autofill entry as a 'Gross JG-2' (JG stands for John Gross'). I hope that'll do!

Mate you're a deadset legend, what a supremely fast response! And to add to the excellent customer service experience this site offers you've also added the type for me, way to kind!!!

As soon as Clifton is added to the airports list I'll upload it!! (Edit - I note Clifton has also been added, only requested it two hours ago.... fast, very fast Jetphotos!!!). Shot has now been uploaded however I don't rate it as a "Hot Photo" contender and haven't uploaded it as such.

While we're at it, can it be confirmed that the data attached to all shots of Focke-Wulf 190 replica VH-FWB in the database are 100% correct in terms of aircraft type? I've got a shot of that I'd love to upload as well.

Next time you're here in Brisvegas I owe you a beer AJ.
