            I thought maybe Numbe 2 also, but I can't seem to avoid getting that pixelization in the blue sky below the front of the planes =(

              I would easily think 2 & 3 could make it w/some fine tuning.

                Did you try to get rid of noise by selecting the sky and hitting median or blur or something similar? That will make the sky look wierd every time.

                    Do you use USM on the sky? I always select only the aircraft (select the sky, then inverse the selection) so that the sharpening only affects the aircraft. That should help avoid getting funky looking sky.

                      I tried this, but it still hapens (the pixelation of the sky). Could have something to do with how I'm resizing the image?

                      (And they were taken at the TICO Warbird Airshow last weekend at KTIX in Florida)
