  • Photography in the Bristol, UK area. Any advice ?

My missus is going to Bristol for a conference for three days 4th, 5th and 6th of May and I have been released from husbandly duties during the daytime for those three days ( bet it'll cost me in the hotel at night though !! ).

Can anyone give me suggestions and guidance on where to go for some good photo spots please ?

EDIT....Just looked at the Bristol Enthusiasts website and saw a south side location called Winters Lane, overlooking the 09 threshold. Will I need a ladder there ?

By all accounts Brian, BRS is quite good - if you like Orange aircraft!

Quite a lot of tin there too so in 3 days I reckon you'll get some good pics. While you are there, have a look at Kemble and Gloucester or maybe take a day trip across the river to Cardiff. Alternatively, go in the other direction and visit Yeovilton and the museum there.

    Have fun anyway.
