  • /Government/ or not

I have just uploaded a photo of a French Air Force F-RBFA (A319). The Genre is Military, but I never know if I should also select the /Government/ category.

    Thanks for your help,
    Douglas

OK, I will correct it adding the /government/category.
Telling me to drop a line to the screeners, do you mean adding a message to the screeners while uploading the photo, or sending an email?

Thanks for the VERRY quick reply,
      Douglas

I was just about to ask the same question but in reference to USAF and USN aircraft. What's the difference between Military and government operated?
And what about military cargo aircraft like the C130 and C5 do those go under cargo?

          Sorry for taking over...

The 'Government' category only applies to aircraft used to carry govenment officials, for example VIP transports.

                Hi,
C-5, yes they go under Cargo category. About C-130, If you can make the diff between a cargo and a non-cargo C-130 (vs EC-130, WC-130, AC-130...), try to only select Cargo for those who are carrying Cargo.... But again for borderline case just drop a message to the screeners.

                Cheers
                Alex

AJ, doesn't this make it a little difficult as if it's military it will still have the C prefix. The C-40 is the military version of the 737-700C, as is the C-21 and the Lear all fall under AMW.

wouldn't it work better if only used on the VC series(VC-25, VC-32,VC-37 & VC-137) jets use to transport military or VIPs?
