Hmmmmm ... very sacred land that .....

you need an old sage to guide you and a blind fold

I dont think ( and hope they dont ) anyone should post a google earth map reference for the area ....

best you can possibley do is to contact any photographer who has posted images.

    regards

Did you try this site? It seems pretty comprehensive so it might include Mackenhyth as well.

Why not share with everyone so others know as well?

Visit the lowfly.net link that Peter posted above - has all the info you'll need. The Mach loop page is here.

Can I add that if anyone does venture out to these spots to treat them with extreme care. It would take very little provocation for the land owners to block access to these areas.

I understand that it is already getting a bit too late for that with a certain website organising coach tours!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though , Jid is right and if you plan to venture into the hills treat it with some respect, its not like a trip to the AVP at Manchester. Low fly net is irresponsible in publishing information about low flying locations as it invites those elements who dont bother to think about the possible affect that their activities may have on Landowners, Pilots and ultimately other enthusiasts. People in the know keep this information quiet for good reason, not out of selfishness as implied by Low Fly Net. Also bear in mind that you need to be kitted out properly to be on the hills otherwise other photographers will be taking pictures of you being helicoptered out!
