  • Advanced Photo Request - If Anyone Is Able

    EGLL - BA175 - 10:25 - B744

    to

    KJFK - Arriving 12:55

Get yourself in 62K. (In front of the exit row, right side of aircraft, top deck.) Best seat in the house if your in Club. You'll find it very easy to get in/out of and you have more privacy. And if your lucky you'll get the New Club World. Had the pleasure of relaxing in it on the way back from Tokyo a few weeks ago. Hugely impressive, was on G-BYGA:

      Hopefully you'll get lucky...

The 744's are the first being retrofitted with the new Club World product, but you wont be able to find out if what your aircraft reg is until about 24 hours prior to the flt. Take a look on Flyertalk (if you can sift through the jargon and technical BS) and in the BA exec club forum there is a thread where a guy can find out for you or something. Sorry to be a bit vague! Hope you get to try the New Club World, it really is something special. I think the JFK lounge has been re-developed as well now, and you can enjoy the Molton Brown spa at LHR. Worth getting to the airport alittle early for me thinks. Just make sure you book the MB Spa treatments etc 24 hours prior as it gets very popular.

Nice bit of info found on the BA website

New Club World is now available on the majority of flights on our London Heathrow – New York (JFK) route, excluding flight BA 173.

NCW? New Cabin? Yes. Very nice. I took a few Pics. Nothing too great as the light was poor and I did not want to use the flash cos everyone apart from me was a kip.

BA114 On Sunday at 08:25 if anyone is up that early.

Moose over at NYC Aviation actually got a shot of me landing on 13L, but they had just changed RWY's so he was in the wrong place. That Appr is like a Mini Kai Tak. it was good. Check the pic.

Hope you enjoyed the new cabin on the flight. I keep hearing Valentine go on about it and fancy trying it soon. Would be good to see the pics.
