  • - Obstructing Objects / Foreground Clutter Rejection consistency

    Dear all,

Can anyone explain me why the first one got rejected and the second one accepted?

    Thanks for your feedback.

My guess would have to be the building on the right side on the rejected one.

You were rahter lucky with the second one. Teh first one however has 2 lamp posts obstructing the plane, the second has only one.

The more appropriate question would be "why has the 2nd photo been accepted?" Both borderline shots, one was luckily accepted, the other rejected.

Joop, as i took the time to write you a comment in your appeal result I wonder why you have felt it necessary to post this thread, or come to that whether you read my comment at all?

to Repeat my previous comment to you... The lamposts are to obstructive in your photo im afraid.

Also may i recommend you email either an Admin or a Senior screener regarding any issues you have such as these. Youll find youll get allot more helpfull advice going through the correct channels.

And yes, the second shot was very lucky to get accepted.

With some photoshopping skills you could possibly make those acceptable...

Also, why did you not move to where all those people up front were standing without obstructions. Would seem to me like somewhat of an obvious move...

Just contacted Dan and had an extensive reply from him with regards to the rejection with a very reasonable explanation.

              Dan,
              thanks for that!

              Cheers,
              Joop

That's the fast track to a ban.
