Part of Acft Cutoff Question

I'm wondering, under what circumstances is it acceptable to not have the complete aircraft in the shot? Because I have seen some on the database that don't have the entire plane in the shot. I'm not bashing them, I just want to know what the difference is.

Would this be an acceptable "cut"?



And what if not, what is the difference between that and this?

I have no problems with the Sabre. And the differences to the other shot are :

- other aircraft
- other angel
- different crop
