Copied image from this site and used on A.net

Hi all,

I wonder if you would check the following image out which seems to be a copied image of mine from this site and uploaded under his name to A.net

I've layered it & even down to the prop it's exact, now what would the chance of that be!

So do I go in full steam and ask for the user to be banned and all his so called own images deleted, which beleave me he should be doing a trick like this?

TFSPhoto is Lew, Customer Service Rep at A.Net, I would drop him a PM or E-Mail and enquire about it. They are exact copies, no differnce apart from one is slightly lighter in the shadows. But placed on top of each other they do look the same.

If you look at the info under the pic on A.net it was uploaded may 11th which was before you had even taken your pic

They are the same image. The a.net version shows more signs of compression in the same places as the JP shot. If it is Lew I am surprised but would contact him first then if no joy just mail admin at a.net and tell them.

Looks the same to me. I've been standing shoulder to shoulder with other photographers before and have gotten extremely similar photos. But there is always something that is different, such as prop position. Everything is the same here, including the crop and the histograms.

For sure both are the same photo.There is worse to come I did a very quick check on the 1st page of TFSPhoto (Lew)photos on Anet and the following photo id`s 5818148 and 5919004 at Jet Photos were up-loaded by him at Anet using different dates.
I am sure there are more and it would be up to the individual photographers to email admin at Anet(or better still if they are members post on the Anet forum also).
It is sad that someone would feel the need to do this.

Bad enough that someone should so blatantly steal someone else's work...but a member of the Anet crew is even worse. This one single action blows huge holes in Anet's credibility.

I can`t understand why someone does things like that...

It was a clear night's sky at GCTS, where the photograph was actually taken (as recorded in JP.net's db). However, it was raining that day, and for the next several, at EGNJ, where the photograph was purported to have been taken.

I went through his newest additions, and the first 9 were all copied from this site!
