Copied image from this site and used on A.net

I've talked to Lew a few times and he seems like a really nice guy, it's not something i'd ever expect him to do - I don't think he has been shooting for a while so wheather he's nicked them and uploaded them I don't know. I hope he hasn't though.

I have dropped Lew an e-mail via the a.nal interface. And as it is more than 1 photographers work that has been used the evidence is definately more than damning. Maybe somebody got hold of his account password to log-in to a.nal and upload these shots under his account? I dont know, but I am sure we will find out as soon as possible.

Update: I managed to get on his forum profile username EWS yesterday, today it has been removed as well as the Crew text. Seems like he has had his username deleted? Presumably a ban of some sort, would expect the images to be removed as soon as possible.

Most of the copied photos seem to be "taken" at Humberside (Hull) - Kirmington (HUY / EGNJ), so he has changed the airport from the original location.

All in all, pretty rude behaviour!

Exactly. I think people are far to quick to jump to conclusions. Yes, the evidence is damning, but Lew has been through some shit over the past few weeks/months and I think the least of his worries would be uploading to a.net.

I don't know if it is him or not. If it is then fair enough i'm wrong.

I am in contact with A.net and the matter is being investigated. Can I just point out the Lew is not a crew member of any sort at A.net and has not been for some time now. It may also be the case that someone else has access to his account.

I will lock this now until there is something to report back. Any further conjecture would be pointless.

It appears that Lew's account had been hi-jacked and someone had been using it without his knowlage.

My account has been stolen, its now been deleted. Ive been intouch with the screeners about these images and they have been or will be deleted as requested.

I can't post for myself in that thread on JP as i dont have an account but i will be contacting each of the photographers in question and sending them a formal apology for this mistake.

I dont know how long this has gone on for as ive not uploaded in quite some time, but anet are onto it as far as im aware.

If someone could post up on jp about this, it would be much appreciated.
