Old old photos: no photographer?

I have found some old photos that I have no idea who the photographer is. I would like to put them on the site, is it ok that I do so?

Hmmm...at the bottom of the photos it has your name as the photographer and it's copyrighted to you, don't you think that might be stealing?

Prolly not. There not yours. And technically you have no permission to put them online.

What I am asking is if there is a way to put an unknown photographer in that field instead of my name? The dates on the back are 1942. These are originals.
