  • Sharpening issue

Hi, I am an amataur photographer trying to get my first photo accepted here. I am shooting with a Nikon D50 and a 70-300mm lens. I don't have a real fancy photo editing program, but just use Paint Shop Pro 9.

This photo here got rejected for "Undersharpened (Soft)".

I sharpened it a bit more, and would like some opinions before I upload it again.

    Thanks!

The second one needs a small rotation and needs to be just a tad less sharp. IMO.

I'd say the sharpening is fine now, I don't see any jaggies at all. It is leaning a bit to the right though. I'd even it up and go for it.

The second one looks pretty good from this screen. Sharpening wise. Sort the tilt out and as Tom says it will be looking good.
