I don't think that US Air was your problem. I spent 10 hours flying from BWI-MCO. i think the T-storms are to blame.

            Chris,

I was in SXM from the 3-6 of August. When was your USair flight supposed to leave because while I was there a USair 757 cancelled and everyone was put up at the Maho

Looks like I will have to include SXM on my list of destinations to go to. A spotter's paradise for sure and not just planes Clovis, were you at the viewing area at CLT? Nice place isn't it .

Yessir, up the road in the Island Home neighborhood (gated, but rarely closed). I was even talking with Island Home Security up there .. no problems with photographers apparently.

You won't need as much of a lens as you might think from up there, either.. the Corsair F-GSEX rotation shot from up there was shot at full 400mm, and has the runway pretty much full frame!

Just amazing! It looks and sounds like you had a great time. I love the St. Barts (as a friend calls it) "controlled crash" approach pics. Don't get me wrong, I love the SXM shots, too.
