I have noticed that the upload que has not been touched for at least 2 days...
Get your facts together before writing such bullshit! the queue was touching the 5000+ mark a few days ago. People upload between 1200-1600 photos DAILY. The queue is below 3000 at this moment. Care to explain, how that's possible without touching the queue?
With these news, how about a "thank you screeners"? And no, I don't mean myself, as I haven't contributed much, but the other volunteers.
Perhaps you have been looking at a cached image. It might be a good idea to check your browser settings.
I have had several shots screened recently and on average they are going through in under three days. Given that JPNet seems to be getting double the volume of A-net and is screeening in half the time I would say that the screeners here are pretty busy.
i had 9 pictures screened recently, all entered in the high 4000s, somewhat around 4800 if i remember right.
According to the screening email they were 2days 15hours in the queue.
And to be quite frank this is the fastest screening has been in some months time.
So yes, the screeners seem to put A LOT of effort in reducing the queue at the moment.

Where can i get one of those stylish JP.net banners? - Got it!
The JP screeners does deserve a thank you like Gerardo suggested.
Even if it is queued together with 4000+ photos, normally it has gotten trough within three days, and that is impressive.
You have to wait a few days, who cares. You could wait weeks like the other site.
Jeez.....let me verify that I am on the right Airline photo site....be back in a minute.......ok I'm back.......Yep I am on Jet Photos....
When did people here get so nasty I thought for a moment I was on the forums over at Airliners.net.......the nasty meter of each of these response would indicate so..
Sorry for my misunderstanding and confusion......I see the que moving.

No nastiness intended on my part but you had clearly made an error somehow.

And I CLEARLY admitted it to.....
I just wanted to make the point that respect and consideration is what separates JP from Anet. It seems it was missing during the time I posted my thread and now...

It's annoying when the same question is asked over and over and over again. Then once more. Use one of the features of this forum and search. Ever think the screeners may have lives? Ever think that the system they use to screen could have been down for a little bit?
No need to delete at all....just send a large box of doughnuts to....?
I know that it sometimes seems like the queue isn't moving. Yesterday it might have been say 4000 and today its at 4500. You need to remember though that 2500 might have been dealt with in the meantime and that the queue is effectively lower when you consider the uploads over that period.
We had one screener yesterday who screened more than 1000 pics in the day. You'll know who he is if you see him...he's the one with bloodshot, square eyes !!
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
