To the screener(s) on my recent shots, thanks for the comments and adding the missing category on one. Sorry about the duplicates. On some big shoots, I'll pick several candidates for a particular plane and sometimes miss getting the duplicate out.

I am curious however. Do you share them because they've become top shots on their own, or do you arbitrarily select some new photos to share thereby turning them into top shots?

Either way is fine with me, obviously!

Screener's Comments: needs night category, you have been told several times, also still soft.
Fine I can take a rejection I am not offended but when you write something like that yes I am offended. I don't need to be spoken down to like that. A little professionalism would go a long way. Sounds like this screener doesn't like what he's doing. You are a volunteer I know this and I appreciate it. I won't tolerate that tone. Rejected it, I will be fine.

We're asked to leave comments, yet when we do, we get comments like this...

It sounds like the type of comment I'd leave so it might have been me who screened your image, I honestly cant remember now as I've screened over 1000 images in the last 2 weeks. I can tell you I enjoy screening, but it's frustrating to see uploaders constantly neglecting the night shot category (and other categories) despite previous warnings. I'm amazed and somewhat bemused you took offence at the comment. We're blasted for not leaving comments, yet when we do leave comments, we're also blasted for it.

It wasn't you Dave....and it wasn't me either because I have said that before. Doesn't matter who it was, sufficient to say that they are correct, Agustin has been warned several times in the past.

Agustin, we tick categories for people that miss them sometimes and we record those occasions in a file that is visible to screeners on each of that persons uploads. We use this information to determine whether or not we should continue to be helpful or whether we need to be more firm with our screening. On this occasion you got a comment designed to nudge you a bit more firmly towards remembering the use of the night shot category.

Forgive me for saying this but i'm going to say it anyway, sometimes I really think you deserve it the way your lot treat people, if you ran a business like do this website you probably wouldn't be around by this point.

I'm pretty sure it is a business and you can take your business elsewhere whenever you like

I appreciate the feedback. I keep getting the feeling that I am somehow upset cause of a rejection. I am not. I accept rejections. I rarely appeal them. Do you have a file that tracks that too? Like I said before, go and reject it, I'll be fine. I don't need to be spoken down to. Warned? Are you guys threatening me. On this particular rejection I honestly forgot to click dark. The screener rejects it and that's the way it's supposed to work isn't it? Dont threaten me. That's what I am upset about. I have 6,200 plus pictures in the database. I hope I know what I am doing. Does that not earn a little respect? I won't post anymore. Thanks.
