Defunct airlines category

Hi,

I did a search in this forum on uploading defunct airlines and if there is a specific category to select for defunct airlines but I couldn't find any information. I only came across a discussion about whether or not a defunct category should be added as there was interest.

When uploading photos I can't find an option to select for defunct airlines so do I need to upload defunct airlines without selecting a category? I added a defunct airline photo in the past but I cannot recall whether I also selected a specific category for defunct airlines.

Any help?

If the airline is not in the drop down menu on the upload page please fill in the 'add airline' option and the airline submitted will be added shortly if approved.

How are you doing? Thank you for your tip. The airline I uploaded is in the database but I was wondering if there are specific categories to select when uploading a defunct airline.

The way airlines come and go would make a defunct airline DB quite labour intense to maintain I would imagine. While waiting for it to be added is a pain, it is probably the best option.

Okay thanks, now I know what to do in case of defunct airlines which is just uploading the photos without any specific categories to select. The photos are in the queue, still about 3400 photos to go before my photos get screened but okay. Patience is the key word here

Don't forget though that if was a cargo aircraft for instance, you still need to tick cargo etc.
