It appears everybody hated it when they introduced it before release but they released it anyway.

Seems to be a case of a new layout being unconventional to most people because they became so accustomed to the old one... even though they hate the site so much they don't visit it right?

Either I'm the only one who doesn't mind the 'lite' colour scheme and larger thumbnails, or I was the only one stupid enough to say so. Also, I haven't uploaded a single photo to anywhere in months so may not have experienced the multiple fiascos everyone else somehow encounters.

What I wish is that photos on THIS site would get close to the same views as THAT site. I wish the views here were higher. sometimes, for the exact same photo, the difference is in the thousands! I would put more of my photos here if they got the same exposure as over there. I know, its sad to say, but its like if you want exposure then you put your photos over there and put up with the petty rejections, long wait, suck it up and pay the price to get photos added. There are a number of things about that site and its management that bother me but at this point, with so much time invested, I'd be crazy to delete all my photos there and put them on here.

Bruce, if you use Internet Explorer without any adblocker, do the following:
Search for an old photo in A.net, where you would bet, that nobody will ever have a look at it. Click it, wait a few minutes and watch the hit count ..... I and several other people can prove it: the hit counter will go up by 2-5 hits!! That's something we don't have here!! BTW, I reported this at A.net at least twice in the past few years, with the only result .... it's my fault .

That said, A.net is the number 1 website traffic wise, period. But for a privately run website, we're not doing that bad
