Sure if the shots are different enough you can have 4,5 or 6.

Not always true, I've had some rejected and was asked only to pick my "best 2".

I was under the same impression that as long as they are different compositions then it wouldn't matter.

If that has changed then great!

Wasn't there also a rule that you can't have more than four shots of the same registration at the same location, no matter when the photos were taken? Or am I mixing up websites?

You can only have two of the same aircraft in the queue at any one time though.
