  • USAF a\c registration help

    Hey folks!

I'm a total noob with military regs, I'm trying to figure out regs for the following aircraft:

C-17 with 33113 on the tail
C-5 with 60013 on the tail
C-130 firefighter with 47317 on the tail

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    The C17 would actually be 93-3113. The C-5 66-0013 and the C130 I believe 64-7317

        The serial 64-7317 for the C-130 is doesn't excist. I did found 94-7317, a C-130H with c/n 382-5391.

        The C-5 must be 86-0013, a C-5M c/n: 500-99(one of the first re-enginded ones).

        And the C-17 is 03-3113,c/n: P113

        These are the corrct serials.

All right, just two more guys.

How about US Customs and Border Protection UAV with 007 108 on the tail,
and US Army helicopter (forgot the model, seriously ), with 72057 on the tail.

Guys, you can just point out a resource you use to find those, just not to bother you anymore.

            Thanks!

              I use the Scramble database:

              And Joe Baugher's site:
              http://home.att.net/~jbaugher/

If you only have a partial number, both can take a little detective work and knowledge of numbering schemes to find what you need. A quick look didn't reveal either of the last two you mentioned, but I'll see if I can figure them out.

For the Army chopper the best I can find is .....

                72-02057

                c/n 9206/LUH51

UH 72A Lakota ( Military version of the BK117/EC145 )
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

UH-72A 07-2057 I would say for the Lakota. A fiscal year 72 Lakota is impossible.
