    Yes, the EDDF terrace is facing the south and nothing else but that, so far I also know that, but Ive never been to that terrace. Sometimes the best spotting places are not on a terrace..

    But can't we do some nice shots on the EDDF terrace at least in the early morning.. maybe 0730-0830, or in the evening, 1730-1830 local (also having in mind a skin damage that nobody really wants )?

    For all people with good lenses, I can provide you some words about the two EDDL terraces (and some other spotting places at DUS), in English if I could choose.

    edit: Well, that wouldve been too good, the terrace at EDDF is only open 1000-1700 local. A reason for that, ... maybe because EDDF is an Interconti airport, so imho worldwide flights have a gate at EDDF. And international security appointments dont allow them to open the terrace until sunset? Only a guess...
