Question about airline/catagory info

Hi,

In the queue, I have a photo of a deregistered aircraft. When I went to fill in the fields, it came up as if it were still in the original airlines' service (Zantop). Being that it is deregistered, I put private as the airline field as it is the airport that owns it now.

Also, the catagory came up as a cargo plane, but now that it is deregistered, it is now being used as a firefighter trainer. Would leaving this field blank be the right option?

Hi Mark,

The Airline field should read the operator at the time the picture was taken. If that was private, then this is OK.

If it is not a cargo plane anymore, then leave this category empty.

It never hurts to leave a note to the screeners why you filled in something manually.

I had already done as you suggested and had already left comments for the screeners. Wanting to verify these were the right options.
