  • Spotting at CDG

If all goes well again a trip planned for CDG by the end of next week.
Have been there twice now, really nice airport.Still wondering the spotting possibilities at the southern runways, near the concorde memorial, not been there yet. Which lens, stairs needed(obstructing objects?), most favorable time of the day ect, ect.
Also asking ourself if the stairs at the old meteo building are still open so we can climb up there?.

Any one who has been there latelly or or French spotters for the answers?
Thanks in advance.(also on behalve of my travelling mates Ronald and Bjorn)

I hope you are aware that you need an official photography permit to spot at CDG!

If you take the time to read you see that I've been there twice already.
With all respect this is not the reply I'm waiting for

*lol... having been there twice doesn't mean you already know about the requirement for a permit... maybe you just got away with being there without one...

And risking a fine that could go up in hundreds of euro's or having my and my friends gear confiscated and all the trouble that further could happen...

What about coming up with an answer now that is of really value to us.
