  • Sigma 120-400 or 150-500

    Ho y'all

Does anyone use either of these two lenses?

Sigma 120-400 f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM
Sigma 150-500 f/5-6.3 DG OS APO HSM

I've checked reviews but I'd really like to hear from anyone who uses these for both aviation and non-aviation photography with respect to how you think they perform... fast focus?, vignetting?, sharpness? etc. etc.

I'm particularly interested in how they perform at the upper end of the focal range (> 300mm) although I'm also interested for general details across the range.

    Thanks for any feedback offered.

    Paul

I own the older 135-400 and it was not worth the money. It is good up to 250, ok to 300 and sucks above 300. I tried the 400OS but it stood no chance against the Mikon 70-300 AF-S VR @ 300mm.
