  • Newbie can't see the dust...

    Hi All
I'm new to this photography business and have had a couple of my photos rejected for " Dirty Scan / CMOS Dust spots". I just don't see the dust and would be grateful if someone could point it out so i know what to look for in future, thanks!!
    Regards

Made much more easily visible when equalized in Photoshop.

Should solve it without a problem. They're definitely salvageable pictures.

          Hi,
I've think I've rid of those dust marks. I've re-queued them so hopefully in 10 days or so i'll get the verdict.
          Thanks again

I think the clone stamp tool will be better than the "bandage" tool.

I'd always choose the spot heal tool (bandage tool) first over the clone stamp. The spot heal is much better at retaining texture in the sky/clouds than the clone stamp i find. If you use the clone stamp I'd recommend adjusting the opacity down to 50% and using multiple passes on it.
